Valkyrie Enterprises awarded NAVAIR AIT/EMALS Cabling Task Order
Virginia Beach, VA August 25, 2021- Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. was awarded a Task Order under NAVAIR’s Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Electromagnetic Aircraft Launching System (EMALS) Basic Ordering Agreement for $350K to observe the installation of changes at the Lakehurst SFD Land-Based Test Site and perform the installation and checkout onboard CVN 78, USS Gerald R. Ford.
The Valkyrie AIT Team will provide shipboard alteration services for EMALS removal and installation to include the following support:
• Upgrading EMALS cabinets
• Installing blown fiber and standard fiber optic cables and connectors
• Material purchasing and inventory management
• Systems testing support

The work will be performed in Lakehurst, NJ and Newport News, VA. The contract has a period of performance concluding in May 2022.
