Valkyrie Enterprises awarded NSWC PD Habitability TO
Virginia Beach, VA August 27, 2021- Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. was awarded a Task Order under NSWC Philadelphia Division Habitability contract to install machines on USS Boxer (LHD 4) for $121K. This multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with a combined value of $986.3M, is to support the design, installation, and repair services for habitability systems and equipment on all types of military vessels and small crafts, located at various ports and facilities (including: operating, testing, training, and maintenance sites) worldwide.
The Valkyrie Maritime Modernization Team will provide shipboard alteration services to rig the machines into the ship, install attachment points, secure the machines, and provide power. Gary Lisota, CEO of Valkyrie Enterprises stated, “we are excited to win the first TO awarded on the new Habitability contract.” David Streett, Valkyrie’s President and Chief Operating Office said, “Valkyrie is a new prime on this contract, so this win gets us off to a great start in a new line of business for our maritime modernization team.”
The work will be performed in San Diego, CA. The contract has a period of performance concluding in March 2022.
